According to the official announcement, Vivo will unveil the Vivo folding series and flagship tablets at the new product launch on April 20. The Vivo X Fold 2, Vivo X Flip, and Vivo Pad 2 tablets are expected to be showcased along with other new products.

Ahead of its April 20 launch, the Vivo X Fold 2 has appeared on the Geekbench benchmark website as a model named Vivo V2266A. It features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and 12GB of memory. The device has a single-core score of 1809 and a multi-core score of 5050 on the Geekbench 6 benchmark.
The upcoming Vivo X Fold 2 is expected to have an 8.03-inch folding Samsung E6 AMOLED internal display and a 6.53-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED external display. Both screens will come with fingerprint recognition sensors.
As It is launching in China, the X Fold 2 will have the Origin OS 3. If Vivo decides to release the phone worldwide, it will probably come with Funtouch OS 13. The Vivo X Fold 2 will come with a 50MP main camera featuring a Sony IMX866 sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens featuring a Sony IMX663 sensor, and the ability to support 2x zoom.
Each screen will feature a front-facing 32MP camera. There will be a 4800 mAh battery which will support both 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The company says that the new foldable phone will be 10% lighter.
