Following the scheduled end of service for Windows 10 20H2 on May 9th, Microsoft has issued another notice a few days ago stating that the 21H2 version of Windows 10 i.e. the Build 19044 version will end support on June 13th.
According to Microsoft, the end of support means that the company will no longer release security updates for this version, and recommends that users upgrade to the latest versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11 as soon as possible.
Microsoft has previously confirmed that Windows 10 will no longer receive annual feature updates, with 22H2 (Build 19045) being the final version of the operating system.
All home and professional versions, except LTSC, will cease to be supported on October 14, 2025.
Despite being the “swan song” i.e. almost a final update, Microsoft has not changed its original plan and has started to forcefully push the 22H2 update as an upgrade to 21H2.
