XDA has recently reported that Xiaomi is developing four mobile phones equipped with 108-megapixel sensors, codenamed “Tucana”, “Draco”, “Umi” and “Cmi”. One of these phones would be the upcoming CC9 Pro.
Now, a new Xiaomi mobile phone codenamed “Tucana” has appeared on GeekBench. It is no accident that this mobile phone is the CC9 Pro that Xiaomi just announced today or Xiaomi Note 10 which was leaked earlier. (There are reports that Xiaomi Note 10 would be the Xiaomi CC9 Pro for overseas market).
The online scores show that Xiaomi CC9 Pro has a GeekBench 5 single-core score of 545, multi-core running points of 1690. This score is basically consistent with the Snapdragon 730G processor’s scores. It will be equipped with 6 GB of RAM and will run on Android Pie based MIUI operating system. It will also have a 108 MP main camera sensor.
The 108 MP sensor in question is the Samsung IsoCell Bright HMX sensor.
The 108 MP sensor made by Xiaomi and Samsung in collaboration has twice the size of a 48 MP sensor and that’s why it will be able to capture more light compared to the other sensors. The sensor of the Xiaomi CC9 Pro was jointly developed by Samsung and Xiaomi. This sensor supports ISOCELL plus technology, which can effectively suppress light diffraction; supports four-pixel synthesis technology to change pixel arrangement according to light and dark changes; intelligent ISO can reduce noise, and focus is on phase detection autofocus.
The sensor measures 1/1.33 inches, the sensor has a diagonal length of 19mm and has 0.8?m pixel size. The overall size is between the Nokia 808 and the Lumia 1020.
Xiaomi CC9 Pro will be officially unveiled on November 5th. In addition to the Xiaomi CC 9 Pro, the Xiaomi Watch and the new Xiaomi TV 5 will also be released at the November 5th conference.
