The day before yesterday, Xiaomi released the Xiaomi CC9 smartphone. It is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and supports Game Turbo 2.0. The device uses a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor. Wang Teng, product director of Xiaomi Company, answered many questions from the internet users on Weibo. For example, some Xiaomi CC9e models used Sony IMX582 sensors as well. In addition, Wang Teng also said that their Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will use a better camera sensor than Samsung’s 64 megapixel GW1.
If you guys do remember on May 9, Samsung Electronics introduced two new 0.8 microns (?m) pixel image sensors, one is the 64 megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor, and the other was the 48 megapixels ISOCELL Bright GM2 sensor.
Recently RealMe had also announced that their upcoming smartphone would come with the 64 MP GW1 sensor. You can read about that here. But if the Mi Mix 4 would come with a better sensor then what could it be? It can most probably some new sensor that Sony is about to announce!
The future for Mi Mix 4

According to Wang Teng, the Xiaomi MIX 4 will be equipped with a better camera than the 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1. With better hardware, the Xiaomi MIX 4 is likely to reach new heights in the DxO ranking.
At present, the highest score on DxO is occupied by Huawei and Samsung, and Xiaomi’s Mi 9 ranks 8 with 107 points.
Right now there seems to be no smartphone in sight which can dethrone the Huawei P30 Pro from the top of the rankings chart! But that situation might change real soon!
