Xiaomi Mi4c specifications and features overview
Design and Display:
Mi4C has not made many changes since its last predecessor, Mi4i. The only thing that has undergone a major change is the internal chipset which is now Snapdragon 808. The design is still minimalistic, rectangular and rounded at edges. The back panel consists of back camera. The front side of the phone has a front camera on the top right-hand side of the corner alone with the MI logo at left side. The dimensions of the phone are 138.1mm x 69.6mm x 7.8mm which makes it pretty sleek and slim to handle just like the MI4i. Mi4C weighs only 126 gm which is super light and is available in various colors i.e. Black, White, Orange, Light Blue, and Pink. It weighs only 132 gms making it a very light smartphone.
Xiaomi Mi4C comes with 5 inch HD display with IPS Sharp JDI display to give a crystal clear look. It has a 95% NTSC colour gamut which makes for a really nice saturation on the display. The resolution with this display is set at 1080×1920 pixels at 441 ppi and OGS corning Concore (custom one glass solution, same as the Mi4i) to save your pretty device from scratches. The device comes with upgraded MIUI 7 which has improved the overall animations and other effects. The device also comes packed with OS Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The device also supports an InfraRed blaster, so it can also work as a remote for televisions and this feature is a welcome addition!
Software and Performance:
Thanks to Android Lollipop 5.1 OS powered by a 64 Bit 1.8 GHz Hexa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, the device provides you with a great performance. You can multitask as much as you can and also have fun with immersive gaming. The Mi4C is also loaded with Adreno 430 GPU and 2-3 GB RAM that helps you in smooth performance of the phone.
The new Mi 4c comes with a feature known as Edge Touch where in you can tap on the sides of the screen in order to activate certain features and it looks real neat and works great!
Mi4c comes loaded with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. As far as the camera is concerned, a Sony CMOS sensor gives you a perfect platform to capture great memories. The back camera has Phase Detection Auto Focus which makes for a great clicking experience. For the front camera, an 80-degree wide lens helps you clicking those perfect selfies and have amazing skype or video calling experience. Other features include dual flash, aperture for both camera and other regular features like Sensor Gyroscope, Light sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Electronic compass and Barometer. The camera is similar to the Xiaomi Mi4i so we can expect the same great performance from the camera too.
