You have been a collaborative bunch all through, contributing ROMs, bug tracking and always making us proud of what you contribute at the YU Forums. We and everyone part of the community have immensely benefited from all your contributions.
Well, it’s time to push some more dust as we challenge all ROM developers to bring-up AOSP – Android M, for all YU devices.
Yes, We are beginning the YU developer challenge 6.0, which is to challenge all you know and come up with AOSP- Android M OS. We will support you with all the tools that may need during this process- Tutorials, guidance, devices … . Anything that helps you accomplish this.
While the best ROM will be supported by YU and stable builds will be worked around it, top 3 ROMs for each category will stand to win exciting prizes as well. We believe in partnering and bringing the best forward to the YU clan and we are excited and hopeful that this challenge will bring forth a worthy ROM.

Terms and Conditions of the Contest:
We are NOT looking for CM ROMs so please submit AOSP Android-M bring-up with minimum hacks.
While a single contributor is allowed to participate, we will accept only one entry per team / individual.
Full credits to author of your commits.

1st Prize: 1 Lac(For each device)
2nd Prize: 50K (For each device)
3rd Prize: 25K (For each device)
Judging criteria and selection of Winners
Stability – Top 3 ROMs- (For each device) which will successfully boot up will be tested by our closed Community Beta testers and further by our Testing team.
Least CTS / GTS failures – We request the participants to run a sanity check on their softwares by checking it against Android compatibility. – https://source.android.com/compatibility/cts/setup.html
Vanilla AOSP – Android-M should be minimalistic and as vanilla as possible.
Least Bugs – We’ll put those ROMs to test and the lesser the bugs the higher the possibility of winning.
Shared resources – All resources and methods used to make your ROM should be shared with us.
