On August 6, reports surfaced that a newly discovered Vivo model, V2312A, had been listed on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s radio approval list and had also appeared on the Geekbench benchmark testing platform the preceding month.

According to the Geekbench benchmark running score information, this particular model is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen1 and boasts 8GB of memory. It will come preloaded with the Android 13 operating system and UFS 3.1 storage.

Previous rumors indicate that this may or may not be the iQOO Z8x.  The iQOO Z8x will feature a 2388×1080 resolution 144Hz refresh rate LCD display with a centered hole punch screen, a sizable 6000mAh battery, and support for rapid 80W wired flash charging.

As a point of reference, the Honor X50, which was introduced last month, also features the same Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and starts at 1399 yuan or INR 16136.

Interestingly, the latest iteration of the Honor X50 boasts performance figures that are comparable to those of the Vivo model, with a single-core score hovering around 940 and a multi-core score of approximately 2800.
