Lenovo hasn’t come out with a new smartphone model for a long time. Ever since Lenovo acquired Motorola Mobility they have focused more on Moto lineup of products. The products with Lenovo branding have been few and far in between. Now there’s news online about a new smartphone i.e. the Lenovo Z6 being launched soon! Lenovo Z6 specifications and other confirmed details

The Lenovo Z6 would come with a Snapdragon 730 chipset. The same chipset is expected to come with the non-pro model for the upcoming Xiaomi K20 smartphone.

The Z6 is also expected to come with the triple rear camera setup. It’s also expected to sport a 4000 mAh battery.

The Z6 would come with a 24 Megapixel primary sensor, 8 MP telephoto sensor and a 5 MP wide-angle camera sensor.

The main sensor is expected to be Sony IMX576 sensor. The device would also come with a Super Night mode. There will also be support for real-time beauty mode and intelligent filters.

Lenovo Z6 display details

Now recently in a post on Weibo Lenovo has confirmed that the Z6 would come with a 6.39 inch OLED display with a dewdrop notch.

The device is expected to have a screen to body ratio of 93.1% which definitely sounds impressive on paper. This most probably means that the bezels and chin on this smartphone are going to be incredibly thin.

The screen on this device would be HDR10 compliant. It would also come with DCI-P3 wide colour gamut support. The maximum brightness for this screen is expected to be 600 nits. It’s expected to have a screen sampling rate of 120 Hz and come with De-Mura screen colouring technology.

The Lenovo Z6 would come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It’s also expected to come with Gorilla Glass protection. But there’s no word on whether the latest version of Corning Gorilla Glass would be used or older one!
