On April 23, Nubia announced on its official Weibo that it will release the Nubia Z50 Mountain Life Edition on April 26, with two colour options available: khaki and fir green. The 12GB+256GB version will be priced at 3199 yuan.
The Nubia Z50 Mountain Life Edition features a back cover with a unique design made of outdoor special ballistic nylon and plain leather, which is lightweight, non-slip, and anti-fingerprint. The design incorporates the English words “URBAN OUTDOOR” and abstract lines of mountains, highlighting the phone’s uniqueness.
The Nubia Z50 Mountain Life Edition shares most of the same configurations as the Nubia Z50, including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 5G network dual-card dual-pass support, LPDDR5X memory + UFS4.0 flash memory, a built-in 5000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging.
The phone boasts a 6.67-inch 2400×1080 AMOLED flexible curved screen with a 144Hz refresh rate (144Hz / 120Hz / 60Hz / smart 4 gears), 360Hz smart sampling rate, 1000nits peak brightness, and 10bit colour depth.
In terms of camera sensors, the Nubia Z50 Mountain Life Edition has a front-facing 16MP selfie camera (OmniVision OV16A1Q) with a new 35mm custom optical system. It will also have a dual camera with four LED ring flashes at the back.
