Amazon launched Echo Pop, the new addition to the Echo family of smart speakers, on June 1, 2023, in Bangalore, India. The speaker is available for INR 4,999 and offers a semi-sphere form factor with new hue options that can add to the aesthetic vibe of any home. Echo Pop's custom-designed front-facing directional speaker delivers loud sound, balanced bass, and clear vocals, making it a perfect smart speaker for various spaces. Customers can use Alexa in English, Hindi, and Hinglish to play music, track cricket scores, control smart lights and plugs, set alarms, reminders, and more. The Echo Pop's AZ2 Neural Edge processor enables faster responses to Alexa requests. There are three buttons on the back of the new stereo, which can control the volume and microphone switch. It is equipped with an AZ2 processor and comes in four colours: black, green, purple, and white. The Echo Pop smart speaker is already available for purchase at a price of 4,999 Indian rupees. Customers can ask Alexa to play songs from Amazon Prime Music, Hungama, Spotify, JioSaavan, Apple Music, and other applications (some may require a subscription). Customers can also stream their favourite music by connecting Echo Pop via Bluetooth to their phones. Customers can control thousands of compatible devices such as smart lights and other electrical appliances from leading brands in India, including Wipro, Syska, Xiaomi, and many others. They can also expand the experience to non-smart appliances using smart plugs, which can be purchased separately. Echo Pop is also a great screen-free companion for kids for learning and entertainment. Interacting with Alexa can help children develop skills like curiosity and communication. Parents can ask Alexa to play bedtime stories, nursery rhymes, games, quizzes, fun facts, and English lessons, and access thousands of Alexa skills for kids. Echo Pop customers can enjoy the full Alexa experience. They can automate their day by setting up routines to suit their everyday needs, setting alarms and reminders, checking weather updates, adding items to the shopping list, paying bills, and more. Echo devices are designed with customer privacy in mind and include multiple layers of privacy controls.
