In recent news, Barclays analyst Blayne Curtis and Thomas O'Malley stated in an investor note shared with reputed website MacRumors that all four iPhone 13 models will use upgraded ultra-wide-angle camera lenses with a variable aperture. The aperture will be a larger ƒ/1.8, while the aperture of the iPhone 12 model is ƒ/2.4 right now. In an investor note with TF International Securities in November, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also claimed that the ultra-wide-angle lens will be upgraded to ƒ/1.8 aperture, but it will only be upgraded on the iPhone 13 Pro model, so how many models will get the lens Upgrade is not particularly clear right now. Mingchi predicts that the upgraded ultra-wide-angle lens will be extended to other models of the iPhone flagship series in the second half of 2022. A larger aperture will allow more light to pass through the lens, and an aperture from ƒ/2.4 to ƒ/1.8 may significantly improve the low-light performance of the iPhone 13 model when shooting in ultra-wide-angle mode. Barclays also claimed that the upgraded version of the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s telephoto lens will be extended to the standard version of the iPhone 13 Pro, with a focal length of 65mm and an aperture of ƒ/2.2, given that the chip manufacturer Cirrus Logic will provide it to Apple later this year. Additional camera controllers for iPhone models are expected to benefit from this move. We do know that Apple is expected to use the same display size and camera settings in the iPhone 13 product line, including 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch models with dual-lens cameras, and 6.1-inch and 6.7-inches with triple-lens cameras model. Other rumoured camera functions include the extension of LiDAR scanners and sensor mobile image stabilization to more models. So guys are you excited for the next upcoming iPhone model?
