Just the day before yesterday, AMD officially released the third generation of the Ryzen processor. The product displayed at the conference had the top model of 12 cores i.e. the Ryzen 9 model. But Tech YES City reported that the 16-core version of the Ryzen 3rd gen has been tested by professional overclockers recently. Let’s take a closer look at the surrounding rumours and the leaked pictures of AMD 16 core Ryzen 9 benchmarks shared online!

It should be noted that this test 16-core, 32-thread CPU is an engineering sample. So the performance of the final version may be even better than what’s visible from the leaks!
More details about the hardware!
The overclocker easily pushed the 16-core CPU to 4.1 GHz with liquid cooling, achieving a maximum clock frequency of 4.3 GHz. For benchmark results, the unnamed 16-core Ryzen scored 4,346 points in the Cinebench R15, a percentage point higher than Intel’s 18-core i9-9980XE!
According to other tech publications and leaks, AMD’s 16-core CPU would be priced at about $800. The Core i9-9980XE is priced at $2,144 in the US which makes it a really overpriced product compared to similar performance being offered by its Ryzen counterpart!
So guys what do you think? Is AMD really gonna take the crown in the CPU market this year? Do let us know in the comments section below! Personally, we feel this would be a great CPU for content creators and professional overclockers alike!
