Google Pixel 6A renders surface online, to come with a 6.2″ screen!
Is the latest pocket friendly smartphone in the Google Pixel lineup?
We have seen in the recent past that after the launch of Google’s Pixel 5 series, Google then also released a lower-priced Pixel 5a mobile phone. With the release of the new Google Pixel 6 series, the news of the impending launch of the Google Pixel 6a has also surfaced.
91mobiles and OnLeaks leaked the latest Google Pixel 6a renderings, which look similar to the Pixel 6 series. It is reported that it will come with a 6.2-inch screen, which is smaller than the original Pixel 6 series lineup.
As you can see from the above picture, the Pixel 6a rendering shows the centred hole-punch notch screen, the raised rear lens module is consistent with the Pixel 6 series, but there are only two rear cameras as seen in the render image.
The phone will have dark and light back cover colours, which do not look as colourful as the Pixel 6 series. But as a cheap model, there are bound to be trade-offs on the 6A lineup.
We have learned that Qualcomm said earlier that it would continue to cooperate with Google to provide the latter with a Snapdragon chipset. However, it is reported that Google has begun to develop the second-generation Google Tensor chip, and it is still unclear what sort of hardware would be present inside the Google Pixel 6A smartphone!
