Recent updates from Apple have let us know that Apple had launched the iOS 15.2 developer preview Beta 2 on November 10, and then launched the iOS 15.2 public beta Beta 2 on November 11.
Apple iOS 15.2 Beta 2 adds macro mode switching function to the camera of iPhone 13 Pro/Max
According to recent MacRumors reports, iOS 15.2 Beta2 disabled the auto macro in the settings and added the macro mode switching function on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The iPhone users can now manually turn off the macro mode directly from the camera app whereas earlier it used to start automatically.
This new feature was first discovered by Aaron Zollo while testing the latest betas. When the camera is close enough to an object to trigger the macro mode, a flower icon will appear at the bottom left of the screen. The user can now click on the newly visible flower icon to disable and subsequently re-enable the macro mode through toggling.
We do realize that iOS 15.2 Beta 2 update also introduces some other new features and improvements to the overall working of the iPhone, such as application privacy reports, this now allows the users to view the frequency of access to sensitive information (such as location, photos, camera, microphone, and contacts) in the past 7 days by their installed applications.
Users can now view it by heading to “Settings>Privacy>Application Privacy Report”. There’s a new option added to enable the “legacy contact” feature. This new feature supports the setting of a user who can access Apple device content such as photos created by a user after the user’s death.
