Smooth Transition: Microsoft Urges Users to Embrace New Outlook App for Windows 10/Win 11

According to reports on September 6, Microsoft will allow Microsoft 365 Insider members to test the updated Outlook for Windows version.

They plan to release a public beta later this year. Microsoft released a promotional video highlighting the transition between the old and new. versions.

Robert Navitsky, Director of Partner of Engineering for Outlook Teams, and Margie Clinton, Microsoft’s Chief Group Product Manager, attended a nearly 40-minute promotional video and detailed the new version’s features.

Margie Clinton explained that they developed the new version of Outlook to expand its platform.

The old version was limited to 32-bit Windows applications, web versions, and Mail and Calendar apps on the Win10 system. The new version will be cross-platform.

Clinton revealed that the new Outlook integrated most of its functionalities, but some classic version features are missing.

Now how will the users take this information is yet to be seen.
