Reports on August 6 reveal that the highly publicized dispute between tech moguls Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg has taken a surprising turn.
In an announcement made on his Twitter account, Musk shared that their much-anticipated showdown will now be streamed live on the 𝕏 platform, with all profits going towards supporting veterans and charitable causes.
Musk has been preparing for the bout by incorporating weightlifting into his daily routine, but admittedly, he hasn’t had much time to practice due to his busy schedule.
Despite this, he remains optimistic about the outcome, describing it as a “civilized form of war” that men inherently enjoy.
As previously reported, Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, disclosed on Instagram that he had earned a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the guidance of renowned MMA coach Dave Camarillo.
This marks a significant milestone in Zuckerberg’s martial arts journey, following his participation in two Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournaments, where he won gold and silver medals in the unrobed and robed featherweight white belt divisions, respectively.
With Zuckerberg’s extensive training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, it’s clear that he possesses a distinct advantage over Musk, who appears to rely more on unconventional methods.
The prospect of watching these influential figures settle their differences in the ring has generated immense excitement among fans.
Although it remains uncertain if the fight will materialize, anticipation runs high for what promises to be an exhilarating spectacle.
At present, though it looks as if it’s just another one of Musk’s marketing plays to boost viewership on 𝕏.
