This new version of the gaming console is expected to feature Joy-Con controllers with a magnetic connection system, eliminating the traditional rail mechanism.

Release Timing
Sources indicate that to afford game developers additional time and to enhance the lineup of games available at launch, Nintendo intends to delay the release of the Switch 2 until early 2025.
Screen Details
According to sources, the Switch 2 will feature an 8-inch LED screen, which is an inch larger than its predecessor’s OLED screen. However, the resolution details are still unspecified.
Joy-Con Controllers
The new Joy-Con controllers for the Switch 2 will retain their detachable feature but will shift from a rail attachment to a magnetic connection system. The Switch 2 will not support Joy-Con controllers from the original console but will remain compatible with the Pro controller.
Graphics Capabilities
The graphics of the Switch 2 are expected to utilize the Ampere architecture, similar to Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3000 series, and will be manufactured using an 8nm process.
