Recently, according to multiple tech media reports, Samsung is developing a new email application called “Email Plus”. The app may be released with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 smartphone.
According to letsgodigital on July 1, 2019, Samsung Electronics applied for the “Email Plus” trademark at the UK Intellectual Property Office. The application was submitted by Fieldfisher of London, which more often than not submits trademarks for Samsung. The company applied for the trademark “DepthVision Lens” from Samsung the day before. Trademark applications are classified as category 9 with instructions for managing email accounts on smartphones and tablets.
Letsgodigital has speculated that Samsung Email Plus may be launched next month. South Korean manufacturer Samsung announced that Samsung Galaxy Unpacked will be held on August 7, 2019. In this event, the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series will be unveiled.
The extra features provided by Email Plus are still unknown compared to regular email applications. It is also unknown whether the new application will also replace the existing email application. We need to wait patiently for a month, and Samsung may reveal all the details in its next month’s event.
So guys what do you think? Is Samsung actually working on a new email client? Or is it just some other add-on which would be available with the Note 10 series? Do let us know what you think in the comments section below!
