Xiaomi has been inundating the Indian market with sub 10K INR price segment devices. Recently, the Redmi 7A had leaked in certification details. But today the device has been officially announced. The Redmi 7A comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset and a 2 GB or 3 GB RAM option. It comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ 1440*720p display. It has an 18:9 aspect ratio and the screen has curved corners for pleasing aesthetics.
You get two storage options i.e. 16 GB or 32 GB and it does support microSD expansion up to 256 GB.
The Redmi 7A comes with a 13 MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. It has a 5 MP selfie camera.
The device also has a 4000 mAh battery for all-day battery life and it has Android 9 Pie based MIUI out of the box. The battery does sound promising for this device as it doesn’t really have power hungry components or display.
It also has a 3.5mm jack and the Redmi 7A price in India would be announced on May 28 along with the launch of Redmi K20. The device is expected to come in Blue and black colours.
It also comes with a P2i splash-resistant coating, which means that it would be water resistant to some degree.
