Xiaomi Redmi K20 and K20 Pro launched in India, unboxing, price!

Is this what we had been waiting for?

Xiaomi Redmi K20 and K20 Pro had earlier been announced in China. But finally, the devices are now coming to India. Xiaomi has announced the launch of both these devices finally in India. Xiaomi has been India’s number 1 smartphone brand since past 7 consecutive quarters. They have a 30.6% market share right now in India. They are also the number 1 brand online in India. Their own website mi.com has reached an 11% share in online sales volume. Xiaomi has also reached a 39% market share in the smart TV market in India. According to another recent report, Xiaomi has become India’s highest quality brand in terms of quality. That margin is 20% higher than the second-highest which is Samsung. They also have finally strengthened their after-sales service network in India.

Xiaomi Redmi K20 specifications

The K20 is essentially the same as the K20 Pro but it comes with a Snapdragon 730 chipset which is slightly less powerful than the 855. It comes with an 18W charger inside the box. There are few other minor differences as well.

Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro specifications

According to Xiaomi, the K20 Pro is the world’s fastest phone. Arguably so, because it does have one of the highest scores on Antutu benchmark. What you also need to know is that Antutu is partly owned by Xiaomi but that’s not the point of discussion here.

The K20 Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It’s a dual sim phone with a great design and does not skip on the headphone jack. It comes with Adreno 640 GPU and the 7nm chipset on the 855 makes sure that this smartphone is really powerful.

You have to wait until our final review in order to know everything about this camera’s performance in detail.

There’s also an AI sky scaping mode for changing the backgrounds in sky shots. The smartphone also supports 960 fps super slow-motion video. You can also shoot up to 4k 60 fps video. All three sensors support 4K 60 FPS shooting but the mileage might vary.
