According to reports from some pretty reliable sources, Apple recently registered seven unreleased Mac models in the Eurasian Economic Commission database. These include the model numbers A2141, A2147, A2158, A2159, A2179, A2182 and A2251. These would be the new MacBook models expected to be launched this fall season! One of them might be the 16 inch MacBook pro!
From the description of the “portable” computer, these seven models are MacBook laptops and run the macOS 10.14 system.
It is understood that the newly leaked models may include the MacBook i.e. the entry-level Apple laptop. The MacBook hasn’t been updated since 2017 and it’s due for a major refresh.
The report also said that Apple is developing a new 16-inch MacBook Pro. There are rumours that it would be the first Apple laptop to use an AMOLED screen. Rumours also point towards the said AMOLED screen being provided by Samsung.
Previous rumours related to 16 inch MacBook Pro!
Earlier, Tian Ming International Securities analyst Guo Mingxi released the latest research report that Apple is developing an upgraded MacBook Pro, including a larger model with a 16-inch to 16.5-inch screen, and plans to release it as early as this year. But now these rumours don’t seem like rumours anymore and most probably we are going to see new Apple devices in September of this year!
In addition, he also said that Apple’s 31.6-inch “6K display with mini LED backlight design” i.e. the Apple Pro XDR monitor for professional users is still planned to be launched in 2019.
Last month, Apple updated the MacBook Pro lineup with the octa-core MacBook Pro 2019 model. The 2019 MacBook Pro features an eight-core Intel Core i9 processor with a redesigned butterfly keyboard. At the same time, last October, Apple had updated the MacBook Air with an upgraded Retina display, Touch ID and so on. So that pattern might be followed again this year!
The report said that this fall, we are expected to see the normal MacBook update and the appearance of a 16-inch MacBook Pro. But final release dates haven’t been confirmed yet. Personally, we feel that Apple will give a small teaser into the future of the MacBook Pro and then launch it sometimes later in Quarter 4 of 2019!
