On May 29, Hoang Anh Phu, a well-known tech blogger, revealed that AMD is set to release a dual-slot version of the Radeon PRO W7900 workstation graphics card in early June, designed specifically for AI needs.

Previously, AMD introduced the original Radeon PRO W7900 in April 2023, featuring a Navi 31 core with 6144 SPs and 48GB of GDDR6 memory on a 384-bit bus.

The original model had a triple-slot design, a thermal design power (TDP) of 295W, and was priced at $3999.

The specifics of the cooling design for the dual-slot version remain unclear, as does whether there will be any adjustments to its power consumption.
