Will the new iPhones be good enough?

In the first half of the year when the new iPhone is still quite far there are a ton of leaks. The Apple iPhone XI is expected to be unveiled in September this year. The frequency of leaks is pretty high in months prior to that. This year is no exception. After the release of the iPhone XI, iPhone XI and the new iPhone XR renders Bloomberg has some more latest news about the new generation of iPhone.

According to the report, the core of the new iPhone, the A13 chip, is currently in trial production and will be mass-produced later in May. A13 will use TSMC 7nm process, and the performance will further increase. They are expected to use a 7nm plus process which refines on the existing 7nm process that they had.

According to previous news, Apple will launch three iPhones this year, namely the 5.8-inch iPhone XI, the 6.5-inch iPhone XI Max, and the 6.1-inch iPhone XR2. All three new models will be equipped with A13 chips on the inside.

In addition to the news of the A13 trial production, the report also announced the iPhone XI product code: D43, XI Max is D44, and iPhone XR2 codenamed N104. Both new machines have added a camera to the previous model. According to the report, the camera performance of the new iPhone will be further improved, with better details and more low light coverage.

It is reported that in order to add a new lens (super wide-angle), the thickness of the new iPhone will be increased by 0.5mm. And the shape of the rear camera is similar to that of the Huawei Mate series, using the “square” shape.

In addition, the reverse wireless charging function will also appear on the new generation of iPhone, which can charge AirPods. However, before this, Huawei Mate 20 series and Samsung Galaxy S10 series have been the front runners to support this feature.
