Droom (Motorplace- Droom.in) rolls out ECO, a mobile-based auto inspection and verification service in partnership with Carnation Auto!
It has launched the best in class Car Inspection app in association with Carnation to enable car inspections, verification, certification and valuation at a click. Also brought forth a number of Eco Ninjas as Droom Certified Auto Experts.
30 million 2 wheelers are sold every year in India, it’s a huge market with huge scope for verification. India with 1.3 billion population and being the 3rd largest auto mobile market and a $125 billion annual industry desperately needs a good second hand moto place. Droom does this nicely and it has parameters like Seller score, health score, transparency score etc. which allow future buyers to gauge the health of a vehicle, seller’s trust level etc. and all of this and other things are supported by Droom.
It has Droom discovery for prebuying query resolution. Droom today announced ECO which delivers a 121 point inspection report on any vehilce and increases the transparency and verification level.
Eco works in a very user friendly model as it provides several benefits to both buyers and sellers alike, making the whole sale and purchase process easier.
Eco is economically priced for two wheelers as well as vehicles. INR 282 for two wheelers and similar low pricing for vehicles like Cars.
USA has Lemon law, a CAR Fax and thus it helps in buying of used vehicles. In India it’s not the same, and with ECO they want to bring trust and transparency and the same level of reliability in buying/selling used cars as other countries. Droom can be used to sell/buy anything from bicycle to other vehicles.
750 cr annual business for Droom has been reported previously. Droom is now available in 122 cities across India. Estimate by next march is 3000 cr rupees of profit for the company.
ECO application usage for auto inspection:
1.) First step is registration and sign up.
Create Profile to be an Eco Ninja / Technician.
2.) Enter your details, set up a new password for yourself and then post this step enter the OTP which you receive for validation process.
3.) Once this is done you get a page where you have to upload Profile picture, identity proof and an address proof.
If you are a technician you can add the service your provide, timings you would be free, available locations and service time that you would require in order to respond to the order placed by a customer.
A lot of questions are asked from the Technician in order to make sure that only the ones who are worthy are labelled as certified technicians.
By doing all this a technician can reach the Inspection Dashboard. Technician would receive Cars/ bikes tutorials and he can select both of the tutorials in case he likes it.
By doing this and a lot more the ECO app makes sure that auto inspection and verification will never be the same as before!
