Honor, the global smartphone e-brand which is the sub-brand of Huawei, has announced the release of the latest EMUI 9.1 update for its HONOR 10 Lite smartphone, in India. The latest EMUI update brings upgrades such as GPU Turbo 3.0, EROS System and video ringtone features among others. EMUI 9.1 update will provide an immersive experience with performance and speed enhancements to help hassle-free and quick toggling between the apps.

The EMUI 9.1 update will provide an enriching gaming experience to the gamers, as it covers GPU Turbo 3.0. Mainstream games such as PUBG, ASPHALT 9, NBA 2K19, Mobile Legends, Fortnite, FIFA Mobile and Modern Combat 5 can now be enjoyed available on HONOR 10 Lite with high frame rate, high graphics quality and long battery life. The upgrade for HONOR 10 Lite also ensures compatibility of the game to increase from 6 to 25 games with power efficiency.

The all-new EROFS (Extendable Read-Only File System) offers better performance by improving the smartphone’s speed and fluidity and also saving storage space. It improves app speed, fluidity and smoothness. It also increases random read performance, app start-up speed, data reading performance in a low-memory condition, and improves the security of system files.

The EMUI 9.1 update is a unique blend of innovation and modern technology. It includes a video ringtone feature, which will allow the HONOR 10 Lite users to set video as a ringtone for all incoming calls. The contact specific ringtone option is a great feature to set your favourite video memory with friends or your cherished band’s music video as a ringtone for your special ones in the contact list.

The latest update empowers the operating system to enhance smartphones’ performance through tailor-made features that can learn the users’ patterns and preferences. Moreover, it also attempts to learn the brightness level the user prefers in certain apps and environments to adjust accordingly.

The stylish and power-packed, HONOR 10 Lite packs a 24 MP AI-based front camera, combined with a 4-in-1 light fusion and exposure compensation technology for an enhanced selfie experience in any light. The AI front camera also recognizes eight selfie scenarios and even optimizes the background of the photo to make you stand out, in the pictures.

The device also features the HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC, paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The smartphone boasts of a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels. The HONOR 10 Lite features a tiny ‘Waterdrop’ notch up top which leaves minimal bezels on all four sides with a screen-to-body ratio of almost 90 per cent.  

But right now the market is also inundated with a lot of different smartphones in the same price range as the Honor 10 lite.
