Oppo Mirror 5 launched, specs and price

Oppo Smartphones in India haven’t made that much of mark. Maybe due to insecurities towards new brands and dealing with better specification Smartphone of same price range. Whatever the case might be, but this time Oppo targets to change the audience’s responsiveness towards their device, by bringing out Oppo Mirror 5, which has a unique diamond-like mirrored surface. Some what reminiscent of the newly launched ASUS Zenfone deluxe!

Keeping up with the tradition of new and cutting edge designs, Oppo Mirror 5 comes with a unique cut glass pieces amalgamated into one, but each one reflecting different reflective properties, are giving the back panel a diamond like feeling. The phone has been designed using the ultraviolet embossing technique. Here’s a quick preview of the device recently launched in India at Rs 15,990

Design and Display:

The overall look and feel of the device is mirror like. With a 5-inch qHD TFT display and a diamond back panel, the phone surely looks like a diamond in hand. Weighing 160 grams, the phone appears to be a little heavy as compared to other existing smartphones. But a 5-inch display helps in convenient one hand usage. There’s a back camera placed on the top left side of the back panel. Similarly, front camera is placed on the top right side at the display area.

Software and Battery:

Not just good looks, Oppo Mirror 5 also provides you with specs for a range of Rs15,000-16,000. It is powered with quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor, functioning with an Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB RAM. When it comes to storage options, the inbuilt is 16GB that is expandable up to a staggering amount of 128 GB! So deleting your favorite pictures to make space is a thing of past now! The battery is of 2420mAh which can last up to 16-20 hrs of normal usage. But the sad part is that battery is non-removable.

Camera:

Oppo Mirror 5 specifications and price

The camera power of Oppo Smartphone is a little disappointing. There’s an 8 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture plus LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Honestly, there are better clones available in the market. Also other features, that are simply bland like ambient light sensor, g-sensor etc won’t appeal to buyers that much.
