Oppo Reno Z specifications and price, launch on June 6th!

It’s the latest smartphone to join the Reno family of devices, another being the Oppo Reno Coral Orange edition.

OPPO today released the OPPO Reno Z smartphone. The frame width has narrowed to 1.47mm. Now the screen accounts for 92.0% screen to body ratio. The price is 2499 yuan in China which is around 25K INR or $362. The device will be officially released on the 6th of June.

Oppo Reno Z specifications and details

The OPPO Reno Z is equipped with a 6.4-inch dew-drop screen. The frame width has narrowed to 1.47mm, with a screen-body ratio of 92.0%. The Oppo Reno Z offers four options in colours, featuring Coral Orange, Bead White, Star Violet and Black Night Black. This version is the coral orange one. It has three layers of different orange coatings combined with the AG process’s condensation layer. This allows the light to produce different angles and depths of refraction according to the texture.

In terms of camera, the rear is a 48-megapixel ultra clear main sensor with f / 1.7 large aperture for clear details. It comes with ultra-clear night scene 2.0, four-in-one pixel binning, composite multi-frame noise reduction and other technologies. The front camera is a 32-megapixel high-definition camera with pre-RAW HDR, skin colour correction, beauty mode and other technologies. In addition, the front and rear cameras support five portrait styles at the same time.

If we talk about the build and design the device has the volume rocker on the left. The power button has a green accent and is on the right. The sim tray slot is also present on the left. And at the bottom, you get the speaker grill along with the USB Type C port and the 3.5 mm jack is also present!

In terms of hardware, the MediaTek P90 processor is present on this device. The battery capacity on the Oppo Reno Z is 4035mAh. It supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging, multi-function NFC and has Dolby panoramic sound. This device also comes with an HDR10 display!

Oppo Reno Z price and availability

In terms of price, the 6GB+256GB is available at 2499 yuan i.e. 25K INR (with coral orange, pearl white, star purple and black night colour options). The 8GB+128GB variant might come around 28K INR (star purple and black night colour). The smartphone will be officially released on June 6.

It seems that the Indian pricing for the Oppo Reno Z too would be pretty great considering everything. They priced the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom competitively and it seems they are pricing these heavier models pretty well keeping in mind competition from Xiaomi, Asus, OnePlus and the others! The Helio P90 chipset seems like a price-cutting strategy here. Let’s see what the final Indian pricing for this device comes out to be!
