Samsung will bring back the Exynos series of chips for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series launching earlier next year. As per sources, only the base model of the Galaxy S24 series will have Exynos chips and it will be not the same across the market in different regions.
According to recent reports, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra models will continue to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processors. On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 standard version will be launched with Exynos 2400 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processors for different markets.

On one hand, this arrangement allows the Galaxy S series Plus and Ultra models to comply with the exclusive contract between Samsung and Qualcomm. On the other hand, it also prepares for the future return of the Exynos chip.
Samsung Exynos 2400 Specifications have also been Leaked. The Exynos 2400 chipset’s graphics processing unit (GPU) is outfitted with 6 groups of processor working groups (WGP), and each group contains 2 computing units (CU). It is worth noting that the Xclipse 920 GPU present in the Exynos 2200 chipset only features 3 CUs.
Samsung is also actively working with game developers to introduce ray tracing technology into the Exynos 2400 chipset, which will provide the realism of gaming experiences on this chipset.
As with all leaks and rumours, we would suggest that you take this with a pinch of salt as the final info may change by the time the launch is underway. Samsung does have another shot at making Exynos better, let’s see if they fumble it up or not!
