Today, September 1st, the official Weibo account of Samsung GALAXY posted a promotional poster for the upcoming Samsung W series launch event. As anticipated, Samsung is poised to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the W24 series, designed in collaboration with China Telecom.
According to reliable sources, the Samsung “Heart for the World” W series represents the pinnacle of high-end mobile technology, with each successive generation introduced annually since 2008.
Interestingly, starting from the W23 series, Samsung opted to offer two versions – a smaller model and a larger variant – and rumor has it that we can expect the same approach this year.
Basing our assumptions on the previous iteration, specifically the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 foldable screen handsets, the forthcoming Samsung W24 mobile phone is set to boast a similar design.
Available in five stylish shades, including two exclusive colors at Samsung’s online store, the Z Fold 5 flaunts cutting-edge features such as a stunning 7.6-inch interior display and a sizable 6.2-inch auxiliary screen, both delivering exceptional brightness levels of up to 1750 nits.
Notably, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 houses a remarkable 10-megapixel front shooter complemented by a discreet 4-megapixel sub-display camera, joined by a powerful triple-lens setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by a 12-megapixel super-wide-angle snapper and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera.
Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset provides processing muscle. In addition, the device’s generous 4400mAh battery ticks all the right boxes for long-lasting power.
Furthermore, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 5 offers customers a wider range of color options, with a total of eight distinct finishes available: Ice Mint, Cloud Shadow Grey, Ice Rose Purple, Galaxy White, Polar Grey, Ocean Wave Blue, Forest Green, and Sunshine Yellow. Notably, the last four colors are exclusively offered through Samsung’s online store.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 retains the impressive feature list seen in its predecessor, including an expanded 3.4-inch outer screen and an expansive 6.7-inch inner display, both showcasing crisp resolution and vibrant colors.
Moreover, the device comes equipped with a suitably sized 3700mAh battery (typical value), ensuring a full day of use on a single charge. Optimizing performance, the handset incorporates Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor.
Given the precedence established by earlier W series models, it appears likely that the Samsung W24 series will marry cutting-edge hardware with an attractive design for the Chinese Market. Enthusiasts eagerly await further details regarding the highly anticipated release.
