Xiaomi, India’s number one smartphone and smart TV brand, today announced the launch of Mi 10 5G, its latest smartphone in premium flagship portfolio in India along with two new IoT ecosystem products. With a 108MP quad-camera setup, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset for 5G connectivity, a 3D Curved AMOLED display, a powerful 4780mAh battery, and 30W wireless charging, Mi 10 scales new heights of the premium smartphone experience.
As part of its growing ecosystem portfolio, Xiaomi also launched Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 and Mi Box 4K. Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 are equipped with enriched audio-enhancing technology to deliver a full, wide-spectrum sound and naturally balanced frequency and Mi Box 4K is designed with an aim to bring in the smart TV experience to all TV consumers.

Evoke Vision
Mi 10 redefines smartphone photography and videography with its OIS-enabled 108MP quad rear camera setup. Users can shoot ultra-clear shots along with details unseen to the naked eye with the 108MP primary sensor and experience the full view of their subjects with the 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, with 123° FOV. The dedicated macro lens will enable users to take vivid close-up shots, while the depth sensor will assist the primary sensor in creating smooth bokeh for portraits. Mi 10 also supports UHD 8K video recording at 30fps.
RAW and LOG modes on Mi 10 give creators immense control over each piece of content they create. With the RAW mode, users can click stunning shots even under the toughest lighting conditions. LOG mode, on the other hand, adds a splash of colour to any photo on the edit table. Pro video mode features such as colour focus and shoot steady are designed to evoke the filmmaker in every user.

The device is powered by the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset with eight Kryo 585 cores for extreme power efficiency and performance. It also features an X55 modem for lightning-fast 5G connectivity and supports 5G MultiLink for simultaneous connection to three networks (2.4GHz Wi-Fi, 5GHz Wi-Fi and mobile data) at once.
With 8GB RAM (LPDDR5) and 128GB or 256GB ROM (UFS 3.0), Mi 10 offers swift response and an ultra-smooth operating experience. Paired with the most sophisticated cooling system, Mi 10 uses LiquidCool 2.0 – an advanced cooling system consisting of a large vapour chamber, as well as multi-layer graphite and graphene stacks that dissipate heat to ensure sustained peak performance.

Mi 10 is the perfect amalgamation of beautiful design and versatile functionality, featuring a bright 16.9cm (6.67) 3D Curved E3 AMOLED edge-to-edge DotDisplay with TrueColor technology, allowing it to reproduce pictures with a high degree of colour accuracy. Its 3D curved glass design and realistic haptic system ensure a comfortable in-hand feel and sophisticated haptic feedback for up to 150 different scenarios. The device has a robust build thanks to the Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 at the front and back.

Mi True Wireless Earphones 2
Designed and tuned keeping in mind the audio preferences for music enthusiasts, Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 provides an immersive and grand sound experience with 14.2mm dynamic drivers. A complete wire-free composition along with a stylish and ergonomic slip-proof design complements the overall audio experience.
Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 feature Environment Noise Cancellation (ENC) capabilities that enhance call quality. The earphones support LHDC with high-definition audio, SBC and AAC codecs, which help in reproduction of the original sound and also prevents vocal ranges from blending together with instruments. The bundled case allows fourteen hours of playback in a single charge with the case and four hours of listening time otherwise.
Mi Box 4K
Mi Box 4K is an Android TV streaming media player that converts any non-smart TV into a smart TV. The device follows a simple three-step setup process and allows users to stream their favourite content. The device supports 4K Ultra HD video content playback at 60fps for the sharpest image quality and smoothest video playback. In addition, Mi Box supports the latest HDR10 standard which promises improvements in colour and contrast for a significant leap in picture quality. It automatically adjusts to deliver crystal clear output on all types of TV screens – HD/FHD/UHD and delivers rich audio with Dolby Audio and DTS 2.0 support, creating a cinema-like experience.
Running on the latest Android TV version (9.0), Mi Box 4K gives access to a “world of content”, including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+Hotstar, YouTube and 5000+ apps/games on the Google Play store. The device comes with built-in Chromecast that allows users to cast up to 4K Ultra-HD across mobile, tablet or laptops (Windows/macOS). Mi Box 4K also supports voice search powered by Google Assistant.
Mi Box 4K is the first Android TV-based streaming box to bring Google’s Data Saver built especially for India. Data Saver allows up to three times more content streaming, along with data counter for individual apps, and the ability to cast locally and wirelessly to the TV without the need for an internet connection.
Mi Box 4K has a compact and lightweight design (148 g, 9.52 cm * 9.52 cm). It has a 64-bit quad-core processor and a Mali-450 GPU, backed by 2GB RAM and 8GB of flash storage. It supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands and also supports offline video playback. It also has Bluetooth 4.2 for connecting Bluetooth speakers, headsets and gaming controllers. Lastly, with an intuitively-designed, clutter-free remote, it features dedicated hotkeys for Google Assistant, Netflix and Prime Video.
Availability
- Mi 10 will be available in two colour variants – Twilight Grey and Coral Green in 8GB +128GB, 8GB + 256GB variants at a starting price of INR 49,999 and INR 54,999 respectively on Mi.com, Mi Homes, Amazon.in and offline retail partners. It will go on pre-order starting 8 May 2020 at 2:00 pm across all channels and buyers will get a Mi Wireless Power Bank 10000mAh worth INR 2,499 free when they pre-order the device. Buyers will also be able to avail up to INR 3,000 discount with HDFC debit and credit cards. There is also an extended No Cost EMI option for up to 12 months. Mi 10 will go on sale across platforms on 18th May 2020.
- Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 will be available on Mi.com, Mi Homes, Amazon.in and offline retail partners at a price of INR 4,499 starting 12 May 2020 at 12:00 pm.
