Breaking Tech News on May 12th, several sources from China have indicated that the Redmi K60 Ultra is set to launch in August. This device will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ flagship platform, making it the most powerful flagship phone in the Redmi K60 series.
In terms of performance, the Dimensity 9200+ on the K60 Ultra has surpassed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 found on the K60 Pro, achieving an impressive benchmark score of 1.36 million points. 
The chip utilizes TSMC’s cutting-edge 4nm process, resulting in significant improvements across all aspects of the eight-core CPU. Notably, the Cortex-X3 super large core boasts a remarkable clock speed of 3.35GHz, while the Cortex-A715 large core reaches 3.0GHz.
Furthermore, the integrated Immortalis-G715 GPU offers a peak frequency boost of up to 17%. Moreover, the Dimensity 9200+ supports hardware ray tracing, enhancing the visual experience in mobile gaming.
Its game adaptive control technology also contributes to improved energy efficiency during high frame rate gaming sessions.
Compared to alternative solutions, the Dimensity 9200+ demonstrates a notable 12% reduction in power consumption when running MOBA games and a 10% reduction when running FPS games, making it an appealing choice for mainstream gamers.
Aside from featuring the Dimensity 9200+ chipset, the Redmi K60 Ultra has also undergone a design upgrade by removing the screen plastic bracket, resulting in a more aesthetically pleasing front face.
