The whole AMD Ryzen lineup is expected to get a 7 nm update in the next month or so. Amidst all these news and hype some new key details have emerged in the form of leaks. We currently have some new leaks on AMD Ryzen 3 3200G which would be the frontrunner in the budget APU lineup by AMD. This would be a product aimed at people who aren’t looking for extreme graphics or gaming performance but at a well-balanced computing experience. AMD Ryzen 3 3200G specs: What we know till now!
Sources say that as the 7nm Zen 2 architecture is seen across various desktop CPUs for Ryzen 3rd gen it would be missing from the APUs.
The Ryzen 3 3200G is expected to have a base clock of 3.6GHz and turbo boost up to 3.9Ghz. It would have a GPU frequency of 1250MHz. It would definitely be higher than the GPU frequency of the previous generation 2200G.
According to the available leaked data, the processor would be based on 12nm Zen+ desktop APU (codename Picasso). There would also be a Ryzen 5 3400G model. But it’s noteworthy to point out that none of these products was visible in the 2019 CPU product roadmap that AMD showcased recently.
To be honest a lot of people excited to see what the Ryzen 5 3400G would be capable of and it would be unwise on AMD’s part to not focus on their APU lineup.
