Last week Apple released a new MacBook Air. The new model is equipped with a 10nm ultra-low voltage processor. The Intel ARK database is now updated with details for the three processors, i.e. the Core i3-1000NG4, i5-1030NG7 and i7-1060NG7 .
The Core i3-1000NG4 has 2 cores and 4 threads. It’s clocked at 1.1GHz with a turbo frequency of 3.2GHz. It comes with a 4MB L3 cache, 9W TDP and the GPU frequency is 300 MHz-900MHz.
The Core i5-1030NG7 has 4 cores and 8 threads. The processor is clocked at 1.1GHz and has a Turbo frequency of 3.5GHz. It comes with a 6MB L3 cache, 10W TDP and the GPU frequency is 300 MHz-1.05 GHz.
The Core i7-1060NG7 has 4 cores and 8 threads. It’s clocked at 1.2GHz with a Turbo frequency of 3.8GHz. It comes with an 8MB of L3 cache, TDP of 10W and the GPU frequency is 300 MHz-1.10 GHz.
We have recently learned that Intel’s public versions of the Core i5 1030G7 and Core i7 1060G7 are both 9W TDP. Apple ’s customized version has increased the frequency and also increased the 1W TDP. This makes sure that Apple is able to pull every last drop of performance out of these chips.
