On March 18th, AMD released information on the R9 4900HS APU, which is reported to come with 8 cores and 16 threads, with the main base frequency of 3.0GHz and a boost frequency of up to 4.3GHz. The TDP for this processor is reduced to 35W. According to reputed tech website NoteBookcheck, the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop with R9 4900HS will be launched shortly.
Now, the popular leaker @APISAK has posted the 3DMark running score of R9 4900HS. The data shows that the internal GPU on this one scores more than the MX 250.
As shown in the figure above, the 3DMARK Fire Strike of the Ryzen 9 4900HS has a total score of 3691 points, of which the graphics unit is divided into 4,084 points and the CPU score is 21,289 points.
The picture above shows an i7-10510U + MX 250 benchmark score measured earlier, with a total score of 3295 points, a graphics card score of 3651 points, and a physical score of 6889 points.
AMD’s official website shows that the Ryzen 9 4900HS is equipped with a Vega 8 internal GPU with a display frequency of 1750 MHz. In general, the R9 4900HS’ internal graphics’ benchmark score has exceeded the Nvidia MX 250. But the real-world gaming performance of this APU would only be known once the actual machine is in our hands for testing!
