The best budget Android phones you can buy in India!

Android smartphones are known for their relatively low costs. As technology has progressed good smartphones have become cheaper and cheap smartphones have become good. A lot of sub 10k Android smartphones have become so good that you might skip on that flagship purchase which you were eyeing for a long time. So in today’s post, we present to you the best Android phone under 10000 rupees in India.

Best Android Phone under 10000 rupees: The CONTENDERS

There have been quite a lot of good launches in the past one year itself which makes this list really dynamic. Every few months there are few sub 10k smartphone launches which completely shake up this list. So here’s a brief rundown of all of the smartphones under 10k which are really good!

Infinix Note 5

The Infinix Note 5 easily sits amongst the top devices in this list. This is because of its above-average performance and superb design.

The Infinix Note 5 is also amongst the only Android One devices in our list. It’s got a fairly powerful chipset, bloat-free stock Android software. A great build and design quality. Above all, it’s got a humongous 5000 mAh battery which lasts really long and easily makes it amongst the top picks in the sub 10k price segment.

You can watch our full review of the Infinix Note 5 on our Inspire2Rise YouTube channel here.

RealMe 2 by Oppo

RealMe is a new sub-brand of Oppo Mobiles. It’s an online-only brand with a focus on great specifications and competitive pricing to compete against the likes of Xiaomi.

RealMe 1 was a stellar product launched by them and it’s still a great product worthy of inclusion in this list of ours. But the RealMe 2 is a powerful successor to the original RealMe 1. The chipset is a weak point in the eyes of many but it’s good enough for normal day to day usage.

The RealMe 2 has a unique feature that it’s the only smartphone under 10000 rupees in India to have a notch style display design.

It comes with a Snapdragon 450 chipset and it’s available in quite a lot of attractive colours. The Red and the Blue colours especially look really attractive.

Xiaomi Redmi Y2

The Redmi Y2 was launched earlier this year and it does pack in quite some features. The Redmi Y2 focuses mainly on a great selfie camera experience and it does pack in quite a punch. On the other fronts like the performance, battery life and design etc. it’s a competitive device but certainly not the best out there. It has been outperformed by a lot of other recently launched phones and hence appears quite low in our list despite being a well-balanced smartphone.

Micromax YU Ace

The YU ACE is a device which goes towards the lower end of the sub 10K price segment and is a great phone for the really budget conscious audience.

At a price of INR 5999, the YU Ace caters to a specific audience which is really price conscious and wants the best bang for their buck.

Though it’s a great device, it’s not the best performing device or the most covetable device under 10000 rupees hence it’s quite lower down our list.

Xiaomi Redmi 6A

The Redmi 6a was recently launched by Xiaomi and it comes at an introductory price of INR 5999 for the next two months. It does pack in quite a lot of performance and has the trusted MIUI experience for such a low price. The new MediaTek chipset on the Redmi 6a also is quite powerful compared to the other similar devices in the same price range. But it’s definitely not the best smartphone under the sub 10000 rupees price bracket.

Honor 7s

The Honor 7s is one of the latest smartphones by Honor in the super affordable budget segment. It doesn’t really shine out with anything particularly extraordinary. It’s just a very competitively priced smartphone at INR 6999 with quite balanced out specifications and a good design. But you can spend a little more and always get something like the RealMe 2!

So, guys, this was it, what is your pick for the Best Android Phone under 10000 rupees in India? We personally feel right now it’s the RealMe 2 with its overall well-balanced feature offerings and a lot more stuff done right on it.
