Vivo has been on the roll in the Indian smartphone market since the past year, with back to back product launches, many of which were quite successful. The V series has been popular since the launch of the Vivo V5, as they focused heavily on selfies and cameras, which was something that consumers wanted in the affordable segment.
In the first quarter of 2018, Vivo came up with the V9 which was one of the first affordable Android smartphones in the sub 20K price bracket to come with a notch style display. Since then Vivo has heavily dominated the 20K price bracket and the sale numbers speak for themselves!
Vivo’s strength has always been the innovation which they bring into all their phones, no matter which price segment they focus on. Their recent flagship phone – the Vivo Nex was one of the most futuristic smartphones with a FullView Display and Pop-Up Camera. You can watch our review of the Nex below!
With the launch of the new phone in the V Series – the V11 Pro, Vivo might change the market, yet again. They plan to bring the 4th Generation In-Display Fingerprint Sensor to the affordable segment – a feature we have never seen in the 20-30K market segment. The V11 Pro would be the successor to the V9 and would be an upgrade, in almost every sense of the way. You can watch our review of the Vivo V9 below.
Initial leaks indicate that this smartphone will come with a Halo FullView Display, wherein the notch of the phone would be shaped like a water droplet. Adding to the fact that the phone will also come with the In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, consumers can get a phone which gives them a lot of display space while ensuring that the phone looks premium. The phone will also feature 2PD and a Dual-Lens Camera with Dual Pixel technology.
Specification reports indicate that this phone would come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660AIE chipset, which has never been seen in the 20-30K price bracket smartphones up till now. The phone will also support both Finger-print as well as Face Unlock mechanisms, making it a tough competitor to other smartphones in the 20-30K price segment.
