The smartphone market is flooding with budget smart phones that have amazing features. And now, Karbonn has launched it’s new phone, Karbonn Titanium Mach five. With a 5 MP front camera, 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, the device is priced at a surprising low rate of Rs 5,999, available exclusively at Amazon.in. Here’s a quick sneak peek into the specifications of the device along with our initial review video for the MachFive.

Karbonn Titanium Mach Five specifications
Design and Display:
By the looks of it, Mach Five appears to have a rectangular body, rounded at edges. The phone has a front camera of 5 MP with a flash right next to the LED Notification panel. There are 3 buttons at the front end side of the phone which are back lit. The volume button and the power button are situated on the right side of the phone with minimum space. This may turn out to be a little inconvenient for the users as they might tend to accidently press wrong buttons. The back panel consists of a rear camera, 8MP with an LED flash. The device looks pretty much similar to HTC Smartphone’s as well.
The display of the device is 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) display which is above average. The display is not up to the expectations as compared to other smart phones available at the same price range as Mach Five. Also, the color palette of the phone is okayish. One should not have too high expectations from this device, though it does deliver on many fronts.
Software and performance:
Mach Five comes with 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor and a 2GB RAM. The processor is good enough for a smart phone in such a price range. When it comes to storage space, Mach Five has 2GB RAM with a 16GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 32 GB with microSD. The phone is powered by Android 5.0. It comes with a 1.3 Ghz Quad core Cortex A7 CPU and Mali 400 MP2 GPU and the performance is ok enough but not that great.
It also comes with a built in Universal remote feature which allows the users to control their television sets using the phone. You can view this feature in detail in our preview video at the end of this post!
Battery and Connectivity:
Mach Five has a 2200mAh battery, which may be able to last 15-20 hours but with a quoted amount of usage. Connectivity options of the device are limited to regular level only, I.e. Bluetooth and wi-fi. There are no 4G options available which might disappoint some, But then if you go by the price- feature analysis, the phone offers pretty decent features for usage.
