Nexus 6P Review, specifications and details

Say hello to Nexus 6P, the new phablet from Google. While the Nexus 6 was made by Motorola, Nexus 6P has been crafted by Huawei, the Chinese smartphone maker. With Nexus 6P, Huawei wants to put a strong foot in the market. For Google, Nexus devices launched recently can make or break their presence in the smartphone market. Let’s see what Nexus 6P has in store for us:

Nexus 6P review: Design.
As compared to huge 5.9 inches Nexus 6, Nexus 6P comes in 5.7-inch size. Which means that it will snugly fit into your palm. If you think that you can use it with one hand, you cannot. You have to use both your hands to use the device. The initial super bulky version has been shredded to a device that is not that heavy in your hands. Now, the P in the device name stands for premium, thanks to the all-metal unibody. It’s the first time we have all metal Nexus in the market, which comes at a hefty price too, INR 39,999 and 42,999.
At the front side, you get two speakers, one above and one below. A fingerprint scanner sits comfortably at the back, called as Nexus imprint. The only defect in the design, a back camera which is bulging out. And on top of it, it has its own strip to rule. There’s a separate black area which consists if camera and flash, which is at the top side of the back. The placement is a little odd and the color too. Bulge we might have managed it, but the back side looks like a really different placement as compared to previous phones. There is USB type C connector below which comes with reversible technology. But the camera module is protected by its separate encasing of glass.
Nexus 6P review: Display.
A 5.7-inch display with 2,560 x 1,440, 525 ppi screen makes the viewing experience amazing. As compared to Samsung, the display is average, but one of the best around. Gorilla Glass 4 protects the screen and as a cherry on top, there is smudge resistance and oleophobic or oil repellent coating. But the device is not smudge proof or oil proof. You might end up wiping the screen of your device after each call!
Nexus 6P review: Software and Performance:
Nexus P runs on latest version of android, Marshmallow, which brings along all latest google now functionality and Now on tap which is a mini version of Google Now. The Snapdragon processor 810 and 3GB RAM makes sure that 6P has great power. Apps, navigation, and android experience is up to the mark.
Nexus 6P review: Camera.
Nexus 6P comes loaded with 12.3 MP rear camera that perform well in outdoor and outdoor light, as compared to the predecessor which was an utter failure, Google has made sure to enable Sony made camera so that user enjoys the camera. The cameras on 6P come enabled with larger pixels, which means that camera can absorb more light and see more in dark conditions. That along with laser autofocus means beautiful pictures. The front camera is 8MP with some HDR action.

Battery:
The battery on Nexus 6P is 3450 mAh, which guarantees a non stop 16-20 hrs of backup at least on papers. In real world usage too we got around a day when used cautiously i.e. on an average usage.
