On October 29, 2018. OnePlus launched its highly anticipated OnePlus 6T, after months of constant leaks and rumors the company finally made an official announcement about the launch. Ever since that day, we’ve been able to see an array of leaks on the same regarding the company’s next big launch, which is supposed to be the OnePlus 7. Exactly one year after the successful launch of the OnePlus 6 we are able to come across the leaks and the official announcement dates of its successor.
Back in February, OnePlus made an announcement that they will be visiting the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event which was held in Barcelona. The smartphone manufacturer made a proclamation that they will be the first device to come up with the 5G tech. They also mentioned that their next flagship will be powered by the latest offering from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 855 chipset.
However, we weren’t able to see any progress in the situation, until now. The OnePlus 7 could officially be unveiled on May 14 as tipped by a very well known tipster on Twitter who goes by the name of Ishaan Agarwal.

OnePlus 7 Lineup:
This time around with the OnePlus 7, the rumor is that there could be three variants of the device launching. This includes the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G. The tipster tweeted about the launch date with an embedded image of the launch date with wordings in Chinese. Also, the poster reveals a new tagine the company is trying to catch up on, ‘Go Beyond Speed’. The exact poster was found a few days earlier on Weibo, a popular Chinese micro-blogging website.

Earlier this month we stumbled upon some case renders of the upcoming flagship which suggests that the device will be featuring a triple rear camera setup which is most likely to be aligned vertically as seen on recently launched Internet sensation, Huawei P30 Pro. As per some renders, the device appears to have thin to no bezels and a cut out for the pop-up selfie camera module. To the bottom is the cutouts for a Type-C port a loudspeaker grill and two microphones.
OnePlus 7 Rumored Specifications:
As of now, leaks regarding the specifications of the OnePlus 7 are very less however, image leaks spotted earlier suggest that the device will sport a 6.67inch Super Optic display which is said to be a dual-edged one. Going by the rumors, the device is most likely to be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with at least 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The Warp Charge 30 which is previously introduced with the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition should probably make a comeback in the OnePlus 7 lineup. However, we are yet to receive an official announcement from the company so we’d suggest you take these leaks with a pinch of salt.
