Samsung has not finished announcing new colour variants for its Galaxy S10 lineup. Yesterday, one of Samsung’s Weibo accounts shared a poster of a new colour variant for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus. According to the poster, this colour is called Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus Smoky blue.
The poster shows the Galaxy S10 Plus in the new colour variant that is similar to the Prism Blue sold in other markets. There is no release date yet, but it should happen within the next few weeks!
Over the past month, Samsung has released a Cardinal Red colour option for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus. Additionally a Diamond Silver colour for the Galaxy S10 Plus, and a Prism Silver Park Hang Seo colour for the Galaxy S10 Plus in a limited edition model!
The South Korean firm is launching new colour variants to increase sales of the Galaxy S10 smartphone lineup. We are still in the first half of the year and we already have multiple colour variants for the Galaxy S10 range. But we feel that Samsung could announce at least one more colour option in the second half of the year.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus Smoky blue variant details
Judging from the poster the Smoky Blue colour looks a little like “indigo”. But it’s slightly lighter and meant to look like blue waves under the white moon.
The Galaxy S10 series has been quite successful in the recent past. The devices in this lineup have been praised for their great displays, new OneUi experience and overall hardware quality.
Samsung has been able to revitalize it’s branding with this launch and it certainly seems like that with the addition of new colour variants they are trying to keep the momentum upwards!
