Sony to Remove GTA 5 from PlayStation Plus in June

Sony confirms GTA 5 will be removed from PlayStation Plus in June 2024, along with other games. Play before June 18.

On May 24, Sony announced that twelve games, including “Grand Theft Auto 5” (GTA 5), will be removed from the PlayStation Plus game library in June 2024.

GTA 5, which was added last December, will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers until June 18.

PlayStation Plus Extra

According to the PlayStation Store announcement, the following games will also be removed from the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs:

PS Plus Extra:

  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (PS4)
  • DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace (PS4)
  • Dodgeball Academia (PS4)
  • GTA 5 (PS5, PS4)
  • Indivisible (PS4)
  • Monster Truck Championship (PS4)
  • MotoGP 23 (PS5, PS4)
  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated (PS4)
  • The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition (PS4)
  • Wild Hearts (PS4)
  • Unturned (PS4)

PS Plus Premium:

  • Baja: Edge of Control HD (PS4)

Sony has also revealed the PlayStation Plus game catalog for May, which includes the return of “Red Dead Redemption 2” for PS4.

Additionally, PlayStation Plus subscribers can enjoy games like “EA SPORTS FC 24,” “Ghostrunner 2,” “TUNIC,” and “Destiny 2: Lightfall” this month.
