Success is Balance, why’s and how’s of life

You might have often wondered.

Yes you, our regular reader.

That why is this site named Inspire2rise if all it shares is things about technology.

Well the simple truth is that we started out as a multi niche website which covers everything, over a period of time we fell prey to the “cover what pays” paradigm and ended being a site filled up to the brim with tech.

The very ethos of what made Inspire2rise the brand it was went kind of awry.

So today this post is aimed to restore that very balance that is lost somewhere since many days.

We started out as a kind of site which also talked about Inspiration. Those who follow me personally know that I keep writing Inspirational poems.

If you can read Hindi then take a look here, you might find something uplifting.

Now to the matter at hand.

What is success?

Is success being a millionaire?

Or is it having a great family life, interpersonal relationships?

Is the concept of success a myth?

Are we forever destined to be stuck in a never ending pursuit of happiness and maybe few moments of self worth?

As Buddha once said, “Seek the middle path!”

So is success, it is balance.

The one who has lots of money but no time for loved ones would not feel fulfilment. Similarly one with great family but less material gains would feel bad. The one who has both would at some point contemplate the very meaning of his/her existence and whether they are involved in the greater good or not.

Problems arise because of lack of balance. And it might sound like cringe worthy advice from self help forums but balance is the key.

One must never forget that time is limited and you can only have so much of material gains, time with your family and time donated to causes that you believe in.

So we must spend it wisely.

Success is balance. And in balance lies the Mantra of success.

One might ask, you yourself don’t have any sort of visible balance, then why guide us?

That’s what I am here to tell you.

You don’t need to follow me, religious preachers or anyone else.

Most of our problems are our own creation, the way you react to things determines the future outcome of your life.

You yourself know best your interpersonal situations, the reasons why you earn less/more and more often than not we also know the immediate steps we can take to improve our situation.

Our fear of new things and unknown experiences hinders us from taking any action.

Success is balance. But to reach that balance would require massive action on various fronts.

You can’t expect everything to come in harmony by altogether abandoning it. You have to give time and effort towards the thing that restores your own personal balance.

You might not have too high financial goals and it’s understandable. Money is not everything and some people would rather prefer a life of living in peace without having to worry about unnecessary complications. Everyone has a different component missing from their puzzle which needs to be fixed to bring balance. Someone might have seen poverty their whole life and money might be the only thing missing for them and while for someone else better inter personal relationships might hold the key to better mental health.

What’s wrong is to believe that everything’s right the way it is and just keep on going about our daily lives without acknowledging the underlying issues which are destroying our mental peace.

The journey starts with believing firstly that things can be fixed. A positive frame of mind would help you towards acknowledging what’s actually wrong with your life. And someone who is positive can also fix issues quickly because they believe they can.

Here’s to a more balanced outlook for all our readers!

Inspiration exists.
