Vivo is soon going to launch the Z1Pro in India in association with Flipkart. The Z1Pro is the first online-focused smartphone from Vivo that will be targeted at Generation-Z. Vivo, a well-known smartphone brand today announced the partnership with Flipkart to bring their first Z series device – the Vivo Z1Pro, in India. This is Vivo’s first online-focused device that offers a smart, secure and seamless performance experience. The smartphone will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series processor, a massive battery, triple lens setup at the back and Vivo’s first In-Display selfie camera to provide a seamless viewing experience.
This probably means that this device would come with a punch hole style camera.

Commenting on the partnership, Mr Nipun Marya, Director Brand Strategy, Vivo India said,
“Offering meaningful and innovative experience has been a key pillar of our strategy and our partnership with Flipkart is a step further in that direction. The all-new Z series has been designed to empower the young millennials and fulfil the dynamic needs of the ‘Gen Z’.”
Further adding to this collaboration, Mr Aditya Soni, Senior Director, Mobiles at Flipkart said,

Vivo’s recent performance in India
The smartphone brand had also recently registered a phenomenal growth of 119 per cent Y-o-Y (as per Counterpoint Q1, 2019 Report). It has become the fastest growing brand in India. This year Vivo will be completing five glorious years in the country and will continue to build a strong foundation to create a successful long-term brand in India and continuously bring value proposition products backed by an aggressive marketing strategy.
Vivo Z1Pro specs and other details
There are also multiple reports that the Vivo Z1Pro might be a rebranded version of the Vivo Z5X smartphone launched in China some time ago. That may or may not be true entirely. Most probably the Pro moniker suggests that it would most likely be a better version of their existing device!
The Vivo Z1Pro definitely looks like an aggressive device on paper and might come in the price range of 20-30K INR. This may also be the first commercial device to come with in-display camera technology. If you guys do remember Vivo was the first to come with a pop-up camera mechanism on the Vivo Nex and bring a full view display experience to the users.
The 7 series chipset used on this phone might be the Snapdragon 712. If that’s the case then the Z1Pro might be amongst the first phones to come with a Snapdragon 712 chipset. The Snapdragon 712 is built using a 10nm process. It has Kryo 360 cores, Adreno 616 GPU and features Qualcomm’s Hexagon 685 DSP. When compared to a chipset like the 710 then the 712 features significantly better battery usage, better picture qualities and AI performance. It also allows shooting 4K videos with lower battery drain!
