Acer recently launched its E700 Liquid in the Indian market and with the specs that this phone has, we have very good competition in the mid-range segment now.

Well, the phone isn’t really a budget killer with over-the-top features like the Yu Yureka or Xiaomi but it has got everything that a normal user will expect and with a brand like Acer, trust is something that comes easily.

Good – 2 GB RAM, Battery life, and also the flash in front camera.

Acer Liquid E700: Design and Dimensions

Acer Liquid E700 full review and specifications screenshot

Acer Liquid E700 is a big device, to tell you about this, the 5-inch screen is only 64% approx of the total device in the ratio of it. So yes it is a big device with a curved edge which makes this already not-so-thin device a little more thicker.

While it’s 0.9 mm so good enough while the device weighs around 155 gms which is not so much and not so less, just in between, so that is alright too. The design with the matte black finish which is rubberized is really very good. So overall, the device looks nice and can perfectly compliment your style.

Display:

The device has a 5-inch display and the resolution is 720×1280 with a pixel density of 294 ppi. The screen is bright and rich in colour but it isn’t full HD. The screen is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen.

However, the results aren’t that bad so not much problem with that though it could have been better.

Processor and Memory:

To be honest, I don’t really love the processor in Acer Liquid E700. The Chipset is of Mediatek MT6582 while the CPU is 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 which is Quad-core. And the GPU is Mali-400MP2.

So it will work just fine but don’t expect too much from it. The device ain’t that great for multitasking. Still, this is what you usually get in this price range so that’s okay.

While one good thing here is the 2 GB RAM that the Acer Liquid E700 has. This is one of the better features and also the inbuilt memory of 16 GB will let you store your media files. Also, you can expand that storage to 32 GB if you want to. So overall there’s not much to worry about regarding getting normal day-to-day tasks done!

Camera:

The camera in Acer Liquid E700 is quite good. Very good I should say. The rear camera is an 8-megapixel shooter with LED Flash and the front one is 2 megapixels, also with flash. So the camera is great.

Both kinds of photos whether macro or panorama look great and the LED flash in the front camera will let you take those selfies in low light too. The quality of the pictures is good and we were satisfied with the shots.

OS:

OS on Acer Liquid E700 is Android 4.4.2, i.e. our favorite Kitkat and it is expected to get an update to Lollipop soon, but whether this soon is really soon or not, we don’t know for sure yet. So you will have to wait.

Battery:

The battery in Acer Liquid E700 is a very good and powerful 3500 mAh which will run for more than a day for sure though there isn’t any Fast Charging method but the battery life is really good.

One of the best things about this product is the battery.

Okay, another important thing which I need to tell you is that phone isn’t single Sim, nor dual. Acer Liquid E700 supports 3 SIMs at once. Isn’t it wonderful? P.S. Thrice the radiation, yippee! 😛 😀

Okay, so that was our review of Acer Liquid E700. We think that this device is good enough but not too much. It could have been better and the competition the product has from others in its range is really very tough.

But still, we must say the device is really good. And after all, life’s busy, Acer makes it easy. 😛 (Pun intended!)
