There have been very few updates recently related to the AMD Zen 2 architecture based newer processors. But now there are new leaks which state that the processors have been listed online by mistake on few eCommerce websites. So AMD Zen 2 Ryzen 3rd Gen processors are definitely going to hit the markets soon! As was leaked initially the Ryzen 9 with 16 core 32 threads, Ryzen 7 with 12 cores and 24 threads and the Ryzen 5 with 8 core 16 threads will come soon!
It is reported that some online network stores in Vietnam and Turkey have begun to list AMD 3000 series CPUs based on Zen 2 architecture. These include namely the Ryzen 9 3800X, Ryzen 7 3700X and Ryzen 5 3600X processors.
The Ryzen 9 3800X is 16 core 32 threads, and the e-commerce web page has listed a clock speed of 3.9 GHz and a turbo boost frequency of 4.7 GHz. Then the Turkish store has listed AMD’s Ryzen 7 3700X CPU with 12 cores, 24 threads, clocked at 4.2 GHz and a turbo boost frequency of 5.0 GHz. The Ryzen 5 3600X is an eight-core sixteen thread with a base clock speed of 4.0 GHz and a turbo boost frequency up to 4.8 GHz.
AMD Zen 2 architecture: The low down.
Previously we covered about how the upcoming chips from Ryzen 3rd Gen would have much better performance at much lower price points. With a newer 7nm architecture this seems entirely possible. Moreover, apart from power savings, there are other benefits as well. The newer CPUs are expected to run cooler, have much higher sustained overclocks and much more.
