Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe review: Asus, launched its devices a few years ago in the Indian market, it had been like an underdog in the Indian smartphone market. With every new device launch, they bring out something more exciting which attracts more and more users to this affordable and smart-looking brand.
At the Zenfestival event, Asus launched its latest device, Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe, which comes with up to a whopping 256 GB onboard memory! Something which has never been available in other smart phones resting in a similar price range! So here’s a sneak peek into this deluxe device’s specifications.

ASUS Zenfone 2 Deluxe Design and Display:
When it comes to devices, Zenfone 2 Deluxe has made commendable changes! Remember Nokia Prism? A shiny phone, with mirror-like objects on its back panel?
Zenfone 2 Deluxe now also has a similar back cover that is embellished with mirror work giving it a prism effect overall! The front side of the phone still has its traditional minimalism, but the back panel has transformed over all look of the device.
The size of the phone is about 152.5X 77.2X and 10.9 mm which pits it into the category of a phablet. The device weighs about 170 gm which might be a little bulky for a few users.
Zenfone 2 Deluxe comes with 5.5 inches display which gives you a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels Full HD, which turns out to be 401 ppi density.
The display panel of the device looks amazing and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Asus has used its own Asus ZenUI which is easy to customize as per the user’s requirement, giving the device a more personalized touch.
Performance and Storage:
Asus Zefone 2 Deluxe comes packed with Quad Core 2.3 GHz and a chipset of Intel Atom Z3580. What we deduced initially out of the specifications is that phone will be able to perform multiple tasks swiftly and without any lags. In our time spent with this device, we found this to be true as it has no problems handling huge bouts of multitasking.
OS installed in the device is Android 5.0, which is a little better than its successor. The maximum storage provided on Zenfone 2 Deluxe is massive for the user’s 256 GB which is something that has never been available on any devices till now!
The phone comes in a 64 GB/ 128 GB variant and supports expandable memory via a microSD card up to 128 GB. Imagine what can you do with so much space on your device. All important files and pictures are in one place! No more deletion of favorite pictures and songs for space.
The camera on the ASUS Zenfone 2 Deluxe:
The main camera of the phone is 13 MP which clicks pictures of 4128X3096 pixels, giving crystal clear images and a colorful display of 16M colors available.
It comes with dual LED flash and auto focus that can help you out during night shots. The front camera is 5 MP and clicks amazing selfies.
Along with the standard camera, other options like Geo Tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, and HDR are also available.
Battery:
Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe comes with a massive 3000 mAh battery which can last for about 15-16 hours straight with regular usage of games, music, etc. The only drawback is the non-removable battery which is a turn-off for lots of users!
