Motorola launched the moto X40 smartphone in China in December of last year. It came equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and had flagship-grade hardware. According to tech publication MySmartPrice, the moto X40 5G is expected to be launched in the global market under the name of Edge 40 Pro. It is expected to land in multiple markets including India.
According to the news, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro is expected to adopt the same design as the X40 5G. It will be available in black and blue colours. It’s expected to come with a 6.67-inch OLED display, supports FHD + resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus display protection.
We also learned that the smartphone is expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It will be equipped with 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. On the front, it’s expected to come with a 60MP camera, a rear 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP portrait lens.
MySmartPrice pointed out that the Edge 40 Pro may be equipped with MyUX 13 based on Android 13, and the release price of the 12GB + 256GB version is expected to be 850 euros (currently about INR 75,371).
