Android P beta previews are out. We already know that Nokia, OnePlus and a few others are going to get it pretty soon. HMD Global has mentioned multiple times that Nokia smartphones will get the Android P update but no dates were confirmed. However, looks like Nokia is working at a fast pace to bring the latest update.
An email from Nokia Mobile Care to a person, who shared it with NokiaPowerUser has now revealed that Nokia is expected to roll out the said update to some phones in August. But no exact dates were shared. It is quite true that employees working at Customer Service Division may not always get the latest and most accurate update.
But they are reliable and hence we can believe that it can be real. Also, if we look at the Android P rollout schedule, Google will provide it to OEMs starting from this month itself as the company had already revealed that they will do the same starting from the 3rd quarter of the year, which starts today.
As of now, some of the latest phones from Nokia are the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1, 5.1 and 3.1. These are assumed to be the first ones as all of these are under the Android One program, offering fast and latest updates. And we are expecting that Nokia will soon push the Android P update to these phones. But, there are chances that Nokia 1, Nokia 2, Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3 and Nokia 3.1 will also get the update, later if not at the beginning.
