Xiaomi Mi Max 3 confirmed, coming in July officially!

The Big Daddy of big smartphones just got official!

Xiaomi officially confirmed the launch of Mi Max 3 in July 2018 last month. There will be 3 models of Xiaomi’s phone alleged to be the Mi Max 3 have been certified by China’s TENAA.

 

The three models namely M1804E4T, M1804E4A, and M1804E4C are going to be launched in the month of July. The main specifications of these three models will be similar. The device comes with octa-core, 1.8GHz processor and sports a 6.9-inch display of 2160×1080 pixel resolution. The device may come with Snapdragon 636 and should support wireless charging as we found shreds of evidence from XDA developers in the leaked firmware information.

There will be three RAM options including 3GB, 4GB and 6GB, with storage options including 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The device will come with dual sim and dual camera setup in the back (12mp main sensor) and a single front-facing camera (8MP) except the base version (M1804E4C) with 5MP front-facing camera.

The device comes with the dimensions 176.15×87.4×7.99mm and weighing 221g with a mounted fingerprint sensor on the back. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 and has a power-packed 5,400mAh battery.

Here are some leaked images for cases for the Mi Max 3 and it seems like it sports a vertical camera setup like the iPhone X.

 

 

Xiaomi has a long history of slow updates and MIUI is always a generation behind official Android version releases. So in the time of Android P, we would still get Oreo.

Mi Max 3 will have 4K quality video recording feature and a fast charge option would also be present, according to Tenaa. Also, the smartphone might come with iris scan feature according to the leaks.

The device might come in rose gold, black, gold, blue,  red, white, grey, pink and silver colour variants. While availability for the Mi Max 3 is set for next month, pricing isn’t yet known.
