Nokia has been on a resurgence since past few years. From being almost dead under Microsoft to gain a foothold again under HMD global. The brand has definitely had an amazing journey worldwide until now! They have launched some seriously good devices in the recent past. With the promise of fast updates, great design and stock Android experience with Android One they have definitely delivered on their initial brand value. Now recently they have come up with the Nokia 4.2 in the USA. The 4.2 is their latest budget device and comes with two colour options Black and Pink Sand.

The Nokia 4.2 has started its pre-sale run in the USA since April 30 and customers there can pre-order the device from Amazon and Best Buy stores. It’s also available on B&H photo. The shipping for the Nokia 4.2 begins from May 14. Nokia 4.2 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset under the hood, 2/3 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of storage and a 3000 mAh battery. It comes with a micro USB port, support for fast charging. There’s a beautiful notification LED built into the power key. This specific attention to the design makes the device a bit more appealing. Personally, we can say that this is one of the most lightweight and nimble devices that we have used in the recent while!
The Nokia 4.2 would retail for a price of $200 in the USA. This means that we can expect a sub 13K INR pricing for India.
It comes with a 5.71″ HD+ display and has a dewdrop notch style design. The device comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button and there’s support for NFC as well. This is something unheard of in a budget device!
There’s a fingerprint scanner at the back along with Android One and Nokia branding.

The camera on the Nokia 4.2 is a 13MP primary sensor along with a 2mp depth sensing sensor.

Nokia is selling a dual SIM unlocked variant in US markets. Whether the same variant would be launched in the Asia Pacific region or not is something that’s yet to be confirmed!
